in other news... i've had an absolute blast collabing w/ my friend and digi-design mentor, amy hutchinson.  our kit will be released next thursday.  i will not tell you about our product, except that it was SO much fun, completely different from anything i've created, more versatile than i realized and incredibly unique.  i haven't seen anything like it.  i will have another contest to win it when it is released.  until then, here is a peeky-peek of the package. :)

sorry to tease.  i can't wait to show you more.  maybe i'll reveal a little more before thursday. :)

i *digi* dare ya!

{reveal the momarazzi} photo contest

hello blog readers! :)

hope you had a great NSD!  i know i did.  i had a blast doing some shopping and scrapping of my own. 

now, i'm back to designing and i have a new kit - and a collab - coming soon and i can't wait to share them with you! 

i'm going to host a contest from now until thursday.  emilie ahern's photo challenge has really reminded me to be IN more pics w/ my family, husband, daughter, etc.  so, i want to challenge you to do the same thing - especially if you are the one behind the camera.  at a minimum, most cameras have a timer where you can set it up and snap the photo.  you have 10 seconds to get on the other side.  and, some of you might have a tripod, remote, the works!  when all else fails...just ask someone else to take pics.  and, have fun!

so, the contest is:  momarazzis, get IN the pics.  leave me a comment w/ a link to your pic and i'll choose 3 winners to receive any one of my kits for free.

the rest of my day is going to be spent resting and hanging out around the house.  around 7, i'm going w/ to the town center for coffee and shopping w/ my bff who is visiting for a few weeks.  :-D  it'll be a great night for strolling the stores.

believe it or not...

i have scrapped SOME during 2009.  sadly, it is nothing like what i have done in the past.  thought i'd share some of what i've scrapped.   you can see my MSA gallery for credits if you are curious. :)

this last one is from tonight.  it is from the world of wonder collab @ oscraps.  it is only being sold during april for autism awareness month.  the kit is dedicated to children with special needs and their parents, who i have a very special place in my heart for.  the kit is awesome and the profit goes to a family in need of treatment that couldn't otherwise afford it.  i had so many ideas from the whimsical pieces in this kit. 

and, tomorrow, i can share one more project i did for the hodge podge challenge.  i'm honored that liz asked me to be a guest artist for her challenge.  it was a lot fun and i think you'll enjoy playing along.  come and check it out.  :-D

in addition to my scrappin', i've been working on scrapping my project 366 from 2008 and here is what i have so far:


 
 
 
 

i have some more organizing to do but i'm on the track i want to be on.  i'm using mainly paislee press products b/c i really wanted minimal design - mainly pictures.  i think i'm using blurb to create the book b/c of the flexibility of the cover design.  we shall see.  just dying to complete it!

on another note, my good web-friend, nikki beaudreau is our guest for the month of april and i am so excited to have her at MY store for a whole month!  it's been fun.  check her out!  :-D 

she participated in the A5D 5-5-5 collab, which came out today.  it is $5 for 5 days beginning on the 5th of the month!  here's a preview.  check it out in the store.  it is very unique and such a fun and playful theme. 

nikki has also created this awesome kit for our store.  personally, i can't wait to play w/ it!

i just had to be able to share about that.  nikki has always been one of my fave scrappers and one of the most genuine girls i've met in this community!  so glad i've gotten to know her.

personal stuff:
we spent the day at my parents' today.  it was nice.  we hadn't been over there in a while.  dad and scoot had car stuff going on so we missed them a lot during march.  i'm trying to decide about installing abby's tv in the car.  b/c it's a car and not an suv, it might be more in the way.  right now, it's portable between the house and the car and it buckles to the head rest.  dad, scoot and i are going through all of this right now so hopefully i'll decide something soon! 

little a. named her bears tonight.  she sleeps w/ two little bears every single nap and bed time.  she calls them "bear" and "other bear."  where is my bear?  where is my other bear.  LOL  tonight, before we turned out the light, she said, "these are my bears.  their names are luna and maria.  they are sisters.  they're my sisters."  it was SO cute.  she was dead serious.  "luna and maria" are her version of the names of two sisters, who were guest ballerinas on sesame street.  they do the lamborana (sp?) w/ zoe, who is also a ballerina.  abby loves ballerinas.  it is one of the cutest little things she has thought up in a while.

well, i need to run.  i wanted to take care of a couple of things before i get off the computer for the night.

coincidence?  i think not.  how cool!  now, i own this mug.  it's so ME.

i'm too tired to write much more than this.  girlie decided to potty train today.  wow.  it's crazy b/c little a's good friend, noah, did the exact same thing last wednesday!  those two kiddos...

anyway. it's been exciting. lots of stickers, stamps, toe nail painting, etc... she did it so many times, i lost count.  we are so proud of her.

i am so excited!  i learned the neatest thing about my typepad account...that i could do this:  my project 365 photos.  thanks, to heather ann for the tips.  what a clever idea!  i definitely can't take all the credit!

and, i guess i'm going to keep up my P365 for 2009.  i can't resist.  i was looking so forward to stopping b/c i did it for 2008 but, i have gained some perspective:  A) i have already taken pics every day!  B) i don't have to format them w/ the day number and everything, which makes it not so time consuming.  C) some really fun girls i know on FB are doing it.  for one, nikki, who i started it last year with and whose photography is incredible.  and, liz's photos also inspire me to keep going.  she has also linked up to some awesome inspiration.  i think i'll join the FLICKR group, too, for more inspiration.  it'll be fun.  maybe i'll even learn manual photography in the process. 

well, let me get back to my work.  have a great wednesday!  can't wait to come back tonight to share my FOUR new products coming to the store tomorrow.  hence, the key word: addiction. :)  i like to call it a "spurt" b/c i don't normally design at this pace.
