the perfect storm + a contest

is happening at after five designs!  the combination of a new resident mixologist (and my sweet friend) nikki beaudreau, an incredibly talented guest mixologist (sandrine aka cre@bisontine), our 5-5-5 collab AND our routine happy hour have created a lot of excitement around our neck of the woods!  almost every designer has created something new for this week.  and, happy hour is taking place on friday and saturday this week. 

i even have something simple, new and fun to share this week.  frames and masks in the shoppe now.

and, of course, i'm holding a contest.  i want to see your most creative idea for these frames.  the details of my contest are:

- purchase of the frames is required.
- create one or more project with a creative use of these frames
- my creative team and i will select up to two winners who will each receive a $15 gift card to my store.
- deadline is next friday evening,th the 12.

so you think you can scrap?

this contest has turned out to be a lot of fun and has gotten a lot of involvement in the community.  week three begins monday and my group's collab will be available!  i'm so excited.  it was a pleasure working w/ the SPD girls and i love the way our kit turned out.  it's packed w/ fun elements and extraordinary papers!  our theme was scrapping the perfect photo - one that you can't believe you actually got.  here's a packed product preview.  it will hit our shoppe monday and it is not just for the contest.  everyone is welcome! 

i'll come back monday w/ links.  and, i might be back w/ some pages i've scrapped - like TWO in weeks and weeks and weeks.  if i don't scrap soon, i'm going to go mad. :)

{remember me?}

well, hello there!!  i can't believe it's been ages since i've posted.  almost a month.  wowsers.  my #1 excuse: work.  march was demanding for me for various reasons.  none of which are worth blogging about.  needless to say, stress stifles creativity.  but, i'm about to be balanced out. 

there are some exciting things going on at A5D.  the "so you think you can scrap" contest is in week 2 and is going strong.  we love the participation and i have had the chance to work with some of the talented designers at shabbypickledesigns.com.  our collaborated kit is for week 3 and i'm dying to give you a sneak peek. but...i can't.  next week, though!  all i can say is:  it is fun and relevant!  the colors are so perfect.  ugh.  i'm proud of the work we have done together.  stay tuned for that. :)

we've been having fun in spite of the ear infections we both have and the pink eye last weekend.  :)  daddy takes good care of us. 

april is going to be a lot of fun.  easter, which i hope everyone agrees to host here.  two friends' birthday parties.  my brother's birthday (29). fun, fun, fun!
